About the Project
North Star Montessori is one of the largest Montessori schools in Mississauga. They needed a premium aquatic facility to expand their wellness programming, and HI-Performance Construction stepped in to make it happen.
Our team built an all-season heated salt-water swimming pool enclosed in a solarium-style structure with durable rubber decking. We handled the entire construction process, including excavation, structural work, and the integration of electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and HVAC systems.
The permit process with the City of Mississauga posed a challenge, but our team’s persistent follow-up and close communication with city officials kept the build on track. We worked closely with Rick Ramirez, the school’s business manager, and multiple trades teams to maintain momentum and ensure timely completion.
Five months later, right on schedule, North Star students gained a 6,000 sq. ft. aquatic centre, making year-round wellness a core part of their everyday experience.
